What is it with Yellowstone? Here’s a story of I was there I was at the observation area for Old Faithful (because that’s basically compulsory when you visit Yellowstone). If you haven’t been there before, I’ll describe the observation area. It’s a series of nice benches and places to stand that are a good 100 meters or so away from the actual geyser. There’s signs pretty much everywhere saying to not step any further than that area warning you that it can and has killed people and that it’s a …
