In SW canon a lightsaber is a plasma tube also called a laser sword. This makes more sense if the kyber crystal acts as an unlicensed particle accelerator that by some mystical mechanism forces what’s normally the rare spontaneous pair production from high energy photons to occur consistently resulting in a beam of matter-antimatter plasma capable of interacting indirectly with another saber’s photons by striking their matter-antimatter plasma. Anyone know where we can find some kyber crystals?
