Then he’ll feel surprised and confused when a bunch of women and men actually do beat him up because of his moronic tweets.

INCOMING HOT TAKE

This didn’t really need to be surfaced on Boing Boing. I already know there are bitter fantasist assholes on Twitter, and I don’t feel like my bile needs any more stoking at this time.

I bought a ticket to their show months in advance and i had a hard time keeping track of when it was. By the time i remembered i think it was like a day or two later. I was also having a hard time in a personal level so keeping track of stuff like that was low on my priority list but it bums me out to have missed such a great band.

I thought we had already reached the point where not only are there people pretending to have been beaten up to get attention, but also where there are people pretending to be be pretending to have been beaten up to get attention.

I mean, this is someone not only resorting to the first Google image search result for “bloody sink”, but then doubling down after being called out on it. And it all makes for such a nice little thread, which no one can find anymore (?). Granted, there are some colossal fools out there, but is it not quite possible this was all manufactured from the start?

How can one not?

I’ve gone to two Women’s Marches, and not a single person got smeared with strawberry jam. Some people just have all the luck.

It only makes sense if you haven’t even seen a single picture or heard anything about the marches at all. So I’m not sure who the target for this little narrative even was.

The target? Probably your typical #redpill douchebro and low-information misogynist Trump supporter.

It only makes sense if you equate feminism with misandry, which sadly seems to happen quite a bit.

It just seems like a really narrow demographic - people who have vaguely heard of something called the “Women’s March” but don’t actually know a single thing about it.
