I find myself kind of speechless. Isn’t there a law or rule somewhere about wasting the Police’s time?

I’ve seen salacious headlines that the mother was keeping the son in the basement and abusing him. The fact he wasn’t in great shape when in the hospital lends some credibility to this story, but not going to take any of that at face value.
