Well, $59 vs. crap-I-have-laying-around-the-house is pretty much no contest.
I’m particularly interested in this statement. Was this a game of telephone where ‘there is a suspicious device’ got turned into ‘there is a bomb threat,’ something first responders were actually being told, or at least being told to say? Having reviewed a lot of documents about such threats recently (when did that become part of my job?!?), there is a marked difference in these two situations.
