Man threatens to bomb dictionary over definition of "woman"

He has already been diagnosed and is on medication. I’d have to say this appears to this admittedly non-medically trained person to qualify as mentally ill.

" During the interview, Hanson’s mother said her son had been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression. While he’d been prescribed several psychiatric medications, she said getting him to take them was difficult since he thought he was fine, court records state."

It’s still irrelevant to him espousing this kind of rhetoric. Mental illness bears no impact on violence and hateful ideologies. Millions upon millions of people who have various kinds of mental illnesses don’t make violent threats based on hateful ideologies, and in fact many are more likely to be victims of violence, not the other way around. the problem isn’t that he has mental illness, it’s that he made terroristic threats against others. THAT is what matters here. His mental illness did not cause that.

Really? I guess we need to lock up all the people who are on the spectrum now? /s
