I wish I’d done that. Like an idiot, I made a full six gallon batch, using three ounces of my best home-grown. I have about five gallons left. It’s that bad. And aging doesn’t help it.

If you make a batch of Everclear-based tincture, you can add a couple of droppers-full to anything, including beer and wine. The taste is noticeable, but not overwhelming. PM me if you’d like my recipe.

This will never be the new normal. Today you can buy pear wine and apple wine and even dandelion wine. But about 99% of all wine sold is made from grapes because it’s better.

The “new normal” is marijuana as a legal competitor to alcohol.

Yeah, I’m in CA also. You can only buy the 151 proof kind here. BevMo carries it. Which works just fine for this application. You can also use 151 rum, if you don’t mind the rum flavor.

This completely ignores the growing evidence that the long-term harmful effects of marijuana use are primarily due to the regular combination of pot and alcohol. Really, folks, one or the other, but not both at the same time. That’s just stupid.

Marijuana wine sounds lovely! I’ve made hops-infused vodka (using hop pellets for making beer) and let me tell you, that stuff is like an express train to Sleepytown.
