She’s “Pro-Life” don’t cha know?

And our completely underfunded food safety inspection system. Pretty much every state cannot inspect food manufacturers as much as needed because of lack of funding. If we had a robust food safety inspection net, this issue might have been caught earlier

Also a big fuck you to marge and everyone else who says " just breastfeed your baby!"
As if it was that simple

“MTG, Fuck that Gal” is the response song, I think.

Don’t forget the part where they obfuscated their way through an FDA inspection and then once they were cleared, did a substantial buy-back of their stock rather than invest in non-faulty equipment.

Her most memorable insults: “B—h Trog!” and “You piece of filth!”

Much stronger.

But entirely on brand. Fetus worshipers are assholes by nature. Every last one of them.

Not a damned thing. She’s making word salad that the Q-infected fools who voted for her might understand.

Or their mothers.
Otherwise, there would be abundant and affordable [if not free] pre and post natal health care available.
Sure, the Forced Birthers make noises about providing that care if/when Roe vs. Wade is nuked, but we all know it’s bullshit… otherwise, they would have done it already.

That goes without saying, but most of them aren’t even pretending that their “pro-life” stance is about protecting the women who are forced to carry their pregnancies to term.

Of course, it was always all about the fetus, with the mother being regarded as little more than a bipedal incubator. The new abundance of ‘no-exception’ laws that blatantly disregard the life of the mother makes those legislators accessories to murder, as far as I am concerned, if the mother dies.

I don’t see where men should have any jurisdiction in the matter, anyway. For one thing, the time investment in the pregnancy [9 months vs. 2 minutes] is hardly equal.
These laws give men [and the State] de facto ownership over women, and we already had a civil war because of that sort of thing.

I read a “local” article on Patch yesterday about this yesterday and wincingly took a look at the comments. Hundreds of local aholes screaming about the formula shortage being “Brandons” fault and it’s all about the illegals and why aren’t we producing baby formula in this country anymore, blah blah blah. These people are in a world of their own. This is Patch for the northern Chicago suburbs, mind you, not rural TX.

As soon as you said Patch, I knew you were talking about the Chicagoland area.

I have cousins who moved from Schaumburg to nearly Wauconda because Schaumburg was too diverse for them.

No matter where you are in the country, even the most ‘blue’ urban cities will be surrounded by communities of white supremacists who want the advantages of the work and lifestyle they can get by living in proximity to liberals but still be surrounded by only their own kind when they go home.

Those mortality numbers are totally different from the general data around breastfeeding and are likely capturing far more variables than breastfeeding vs bottlefeeding alone.

I’m sure you didn’t mean it this way but your comment could be read as stating bottle feeding is endangering your childs life in general. (Thus this comment is more directed at the idea than you personally)

Mothers are under increadible stress in the best of situations and many have challenges with breastfeeding. Just look at how utilized lactation specialists and milk banks are in stable environments. I cant even imagine what a Mom in a camp is going through.

The general recomendation (and one promoted in Canadian hospitals) is that yes breast milk is the best option if you can. But for the Mothers who can’t, bottle feeding is not putting your child at risk.

The main takeaway for me is that the refugeee camps are completely inadequately funded to adequatly support Mothers.

We should not put any more pressure on Moms, but rather put pressure on the system that isn’t providing the support needed.

Moms get too much blame and not enough respect already, lets not put any more on them.

I get it. I live in Trump County, New Jersey. Ocean! I meant Ocean County, New Jersey. I keep making that mistake. No idea why.

Well, I always had trouble. Mine are too flat and hairy, and the baby got really angry.
