I don’t like the word ‘coward’ but I wonder about the depth of fear being carried around by anybody who carries a gun by choice (and not as a condition of employment) (although sure, that’s a choice too).
What kind of situations do they expect to encounter, that they think they need a gun on them just to get through the day? What does it say about their level of confidence in their ability to respond to (and feel safe during) the regular, everyday conflicts they expect to be seeing over the course of their day?
What they’re not doing is trying to prevent corporate America running over the hills and far away to make the best distance they can from the NRA lying, manipulating, enabling, deceiving shiteheads.
Goodbye, NRA!
bwt shills (sorry, I mean “law” [lol]) - are they actually going to pay you? If I were their financial controller right about now, I’d be pulling up the drawbridge. You might like to think about that!
And “do the needful”. Well. Where do we start with that? I believe one of the teachers who died “did the needful” - he put his body in between his students and the shooter. “do the needful” demonstrates a psychology and incident tactics that are relics of Spaghetti Westerns.
I assume, of course, that you support and vote for every tax increase that funds schools. Or you plan to purchase and donate these guns yourself. Because right now, a lot of schools don’t have the funds to buy fucking pencils. Oh, and Trump cut the tax break that teachers get for buying school supplies out of their own pocket, so we can’t even get fairly reimbursed for that now.
Get rid of guns in school, add more bombs! See, if we put a small bomb over every doorway, then when an active shooting situations happens, the teacher can flip a switch and enable the bomb. If the door is opened with the switch turned on, bomb blows up. No aiming, no need to keep track of ammo, it’s great! Bonus: teacher can flip the switch on during class time to discourage unnecessary bathroom breaks.
@Brainspore, your photoshop-fu is far far superior to mine. I imagine a flaccid “AK-15”. Can this image be made real? If I were to try it would look much like an amateur repair to an ancient fresco
These security guards were likely doing exactly what they were trained to do. They are not war soldiers or even swat members with armour backup surprise and a plan.
Let’s be clear the guys with guns that the NRA wants are not good guys. They are reckless and lucky guys with guns.
