Recipients must present a valid medical marijuana prescription
Minor but important point: There is no such thing as a marijuana “prescription” since cannabis remains federally illegal. You can only get a “recommendation” from your doctor.
Fun fact: In California, the law says you only need an oral recommendation from a doctor to grow, procure and use cannabis to treat “any ailment for which it provides relief.”
