How do you know they can’t be housetrained? Years ago I met a couple who had a fox instead of a dog, they never mentioned that. I also remember the local animal shelter was once looking for a new home for a fox who had lived for 5 years with an old lady. I was very tempted to take her, and called them up and discussed things, and they said she’d behave just like a dog. Since I lived in the city with a full time job and no garden, I finally decided that‘s quite inadequate for a fox.
