Maybe our HR are just hardasses; but they seem to demand the “at least don’t get caught making the company look bad”.
HR isn’t your friend; but their allegiance to the interests of HQ means that Mr. Golden Boy can go from untouchable to pariah if he can’t keep things from becoming visible. Until then, though…
Living in Miami I’m unfortunately all too familiar with his issues.
Note he’s only stepping down to vice president and his “best friend” is now president. And that friend should have been kicked off the force after admitting to an FBI informant that he knew of other cops smuggling and trafficking, but got off on a technicality of the case being just over 180 days old (the limit). Pretty said we can’t get better representation here.
