“Multiple indictments and half a billion dollars in civil liability later, pretty much the only person who can say they were better off four years ago is Donald Trump”

I’ve only ever known one intelligent bully out of the countless number I’ve encountered. Despite having a genius IQ, he was still insecure enough to be a cruel bully. He was complicated, funny as hell at times, mean, became a drunk at an early age, and later a lawyer. Died at 47 in 2013 when he crashed into a grandmother’s Mercedes while she was out on a bagel run, then continued on into a tree. She wound up in the hospital, and I’m not seeing whether she survived.
I hadn’t thought about him in many years, and strangely, today (Mar 20) would have been his 58th birthday.
He lived in my neighborhood while attending law school nearby, and managed to avoid mom and me.
He evidently wasn’t smart enough to avoid drunken driving.
