You started by using quotation marks for things in the article and italics for your corrections, but then abruptly switched to using italics for things in the article, before going on to capitalize something after a semicolon. I’m not buying that you have some kind of grammatical OCD here.

Buy what you like. The later bit with the italics was because I’d grabbed a bunch of stuff, not verbatim, and wanted to indicate it was from the article (worked too, you saw it). The cap after a semicolon was a mistake.
