Instagram has “friend filters” and groupings that are feeding on the “bitchy” impulse to include / exclude people, with a passive recognition of this by the victims. They’re driving very, very bad behaviours.
The lot of them are becoming more and more disgusting.
I stopped spending time of Facebook during the 2016 election. I couldn’t take the hysteria nor the amount of time I was spending staring at the screen. And I knew something didn’t smell right. My social life took a hit, but I am much saner. Nothing that’s been revealed since has changed my mind about FB’s evils. Friends introduced me to MeWe.com. No ads, no data collection, no spying. They have 13 million users and are funded by selling $1 emoji packages and inexpensive business pages. I discovered that I also know one of the board members and after talking with him I felt even more positive. Now I just need to convince more of my friends to join.
