Pfff, that’s fine if I were a rich kid with a color monitor. But these look suspiciously unplayable on the black-and-green screen of my nostalgia!
I demand a free, fully-playable Apple //e version of Crysis 3 in monochrome before I’ll grudgingly admit I’m even slightly impressed! And I mean in the original 64K of RAM, buster.
“Demade?”
First “requel” and now this.
*lolz
The hi-res games are quite playable on a monochrome monitor, peasant’s quest is particular looks surprisingly nice.
It’s true that many of the rest, especially the lo-res ones, suffer a bit unless you drag the Apple II over to your TV.
Peasant’s Quest is weird because the actual game that is demaking/parodying, King’s Quest, actually was on the Apple ][.
