I have the strangest feeling - I’m excited because it’s RHD, so I could drive it.

Not sure why. It’s not like I’m going to buy it.

Do they actually make trucks? I thought the point of this was that they made vapourware/memes etc. but not actual vehicles you could buy. Kind of like if Catpiss hadn’t bought a car company but one engaged solely in financial shenanigans from the get go.

Why is there three distinct RGB color artifacts? Because the satellite uses a black and white camera to form the color images!

I wonder where they got that name from.

I don’t know what these people are thinking when they drive through this.

All they could talk about on local news last night was the electric Silverado. You’d think Detroiters would be much more interested in a much more reasonably priced Chevy, but that’s not what they covered.

Agree- though the specs of the Equinox aren’t spelled out yet. I’m waiting to see what it really can do & cost.

I really like the ability to use the battery as portable & emergency power. That would have come in handy in this last snowstorm for lots of people.

I’m curious what the winter range on all these electric vehicles really is. It’s 19F right now, how far can I go without getting stranded? What about when it gets below zero?

Absolutely. I think some incorporate battery heaters to mitigate that. Which would also decrease range a bit.

From talking with someone who works for a (non-Tesla) EV company, battery heating is only needed for startup and for a few minutes after. Once you’re using them, they generate their own heat and you have to start cooling them.
