I was just recently alerted to some moved posts and it occurs to me to suggest that the notification should probably forward me to where the posts now are, rather than the empty space where they were.

There is a notification in the original thread itself. Discourse is pretty good about replies pointing to the correct places, but I think notifications are static, so if a post is moved after you get a notification, you’re going to find emptiness.
Probably a good suggestion for the Discourse devs:

Well, the problem seems to be that the in-thread notification is about 80 or so posts above where my post(s) used to be, due to many posts being moved at once. I just found the notification thanks to your advice.
