I wrecked my thumb something special, trying to get the bassline on Billie Jean. Man, that tempo cooks.
As it’s sore just picking up a drinking glass, I’m thinking I’m gonna need to rest playing for a couple of weeks.
So, I’m experiencing gear lust and thinking about getting a synth to …uh…help keep me from picking up an axe too soo.
I’ve no keyboard or synth experience, and don’t know how to play, though I gather going from guitar/bass to keyboard isn’t too hard.
Anyways, these are catching my eye

Without actually owning one, I might suggest a good synth-less keyboard and a collection of soft-synths on your computer.
