In, out, shake it all about.

Can’t he make up his mind?

He has tried demanding more and tried giving less, and nothing is working!

Hm. Except they don’t own the building their HQ is in.

That’s a parody account.

Honestly, who can tell any more?

It can’t be, since it does not have the word “parody” in the name

He actually says he tried to change the account name but got an error.

Part of me feels like Elon Musk deserves to have anything that people make up about him stick, since he’s the reason nobody can tell and made up so many things about himself already. Part of me feels like the truth is hilariously damning enough.

Honestly, I don’t think they worry all that much. They are working in Germany on German contracts, and it’s actually hard to find the ones who work for the Big Three amongst all those working for ad agencies, consulting firms, and so on.

I feel kinda like an exception, working for a company big in agriculture, energy and construction helping to make the various sites look, well, boring and reliable. And unlike how I felt working elsewhere, I actually like what my company is doing and how it’s using its clout to help farmers and construction companies move to more sustainable methods. And I like how it managed to make the move into online sales without alienating its depots and agents.

Unlike how I would feel working for Twitter. I’m getting too old for this sort of shit.

I should have been clearer. Their employer is dismissing them. It’s not a constructive dismissal.

‘You’re fired unless you agree to these changes’ is a dismissal.

‘Your salary is now halved and you have to work three times as long and give me your lunch money’ is almost certainly a constructive dismissal.

The difference being that with a constructive dismissal your employer doesn’t formally end the employment relationship, instead the employee considers that their employer has acted in such a way as to bring the employment relationship to an end, leaving them no option but to resign.

In this case the message is apparently ‘you agree to these changes’ or you are fired’ which is a dismissal.

One could argue it’s purely a technical quibble but from a practical standpoint it’s always better to be dismissed rather than resigning and having to claim constructive dismissal.
