At this particular intersection of interests it’s the picture disc collectors and not the bronies that give you the creeps?
Are the pony figurines they used to sell(probably still do) made of vinyl?
Why not inscribe the tracks directly into the flesh of the vinyl figurines, to give them that hardcore BME edge and necessitate the use of a turntable equipped with a sophisticated arrangement of cams or other mechanisms for maintaining steady pressure between the read head and the non-uniform recording surface?
I see no way in which this is not an excellent plan.
