Exactly. Much like gardeners and pool boys, they are generally implied to be involved in adulterous affairs with their “betters” in pop culture.
Just came back from Amazon after reading their ‘Look Inside’ sample. Very intriguing. The first few paragraphs offered an almost uncomfortable insight into human behavior.
