I saw the same video as everyone else but only see a small, dried leaf in the foreground obscuring a tree in the background. Not the most compelling pareidolia, but apparently it was a slow news day.
I don’t know about “great ape”, but with all the a-holes here in So.Cal that keep illegal exotic pets, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s large monkey escaped and was tooling around LaCrescenta.
