There’s been a plague of stupid irresponsible assholes traveling to various beauty spots, having a big party and leaving all their trash and (literal) shit behind, and often thousands of metal NO cylinders behind, and even wheely suitcases and tents with clothing has been left. It’s often on farmland as well, leading to livestock dying as a result of eating stuff left behind.
It’s taking locals many hours to clear up the filth, and it’s distressing for those affected.
Yet another example of people’s overwhelming sense of entitlement that they can have fun at everyone else’s expense, so my first though was it was a bunch of people pitching up with cases full of gear to set up an illegal rave, at one such all the sound equipment was left behind along with the trash.
