I had fun watching this live yesterday. Not footage of the sample collection, that wasn’t live. But the broadcast from NASA, which did include a near-realtime simulation, and very enthused NASA folks, which is always great.
I wonder if any tardigrades jumped ship?
So now NASA are going to be getting a load of spam calls related to claims for that accident they had.
Stuff like this always gives my will to live a nice little boost. Way to go, NASA!
No comparison to the Giotto mission in 1986. I sat all night in front of the TV, and all we got back then were grey, washed-out pictures, a total disappointment. The impressive images came half a year later.
