This is awesome. Go, Karen!
Good to see a Republican leaving the party after recognising the inhumanity of its positions. May others see this story and follow her lead.
What a badass.
I approve of this message.
To all those whiners… being called Karen doesn’t mean you are a “karen”, your actions define you. Case in point.
Way to improve the “Karen” stereotype, and I’m glad to see positive action being taken and freeing our kids ability to pursue anything that they want.
The world needs more Karen Smiths - but for now, let’s appreciate the one we have. What an awesome lady.
Huzzah!
I applaud her ethical stance. Could you still make a case for banning a few select books? I’m not a free-speech absolutist. Books that really need to be prefaced with a couple chapters of disclaimers and better narratives. Books like:
- “Of Pandas and People: The Central Question of Biological Origins” by Percival Davis and Dean H. Kenyon
- “To Train Up A Child” by Michael and Debi Pearl
- “The Turner Diaries” by Andrew McDonald (aka William Luther Pierce)
