That’s (probably) not an accountants job. Unless the problem was that the accountants were not providing accurate and actionable reports on the businesses financial heath, it’s just mismanagement. His accountants and lawyers certainly did a fairly good job shielding him from the repercussions of repeated business failures and bankruptcies.
