I did think the movie wasn’t quite as good.
This one doesn’t have the black borders (in this edition, the photos are good enough to see tiny hairs of the vellum on edges of pages). It also reproduces the foldouts at actual sizes–and they actually fold out of the book. (The other edition shrunk them to fit on the page.) There is no commentary in the facsimile section, but there are essays before and after the facsimile, which include images of letters, owners, and other medieval manuscripts for comparison.
