I would point out that CA and NY had their first (known) cases at roughly the same time. Gov Newsome reacted quickly and decisively while Gov Cuomo delayed. Check out the relative caseload and death tolls. This is the nature of exponential growth, as we will relearn as things reopen, especially since Il Douche has promised that “we will not shut down again” in the face of the inevitable second wave.

Trump is almost perfectly engineering the timing of this, so that the #TrumpBounce will ensure his defeat in November. Both from the slow rolling disaster itself and the fact that his anti-quarantine partisans are contaminating and killing themselves off in electoral battleground states.
