There should be a legal way to remove organizations that claim to deliver the news but purposely deliver misinformation. This is a gross misuse of a platform. Fortunately it’s too stupid to be taken too seriously, but it was an actual attempt to characterize the position of reducing CO2 to competely removing it from the planet.

Most of the audience does not believe it. They know perfectly well Kerry was not saying we’re going to remove all CO2 from the air. But they are perfectly willing to pretend to believe it if that lets them say bad things about liberals and democrats and environmentalists. Just like we can see from any faux news talking head, they absolutely love to lie and create straw-men just so they can beat the straw-man down.
They can’t find real issues with the actual positions and actions of the Dems and Liberals, they know how popular those positions and actions are. So they Lie about what the Dems and Liberals say and do in order to find something to go against.

The hysterical reaction by the right to “Biden’s climate plan” falls into two categories: just making up shit (e.g. “Biden will ban eating meat,” something the Daily Mail made up which was widely repeated by the right) and saying things that are completely insane (e.g. this). Occasionally some combination of the two (Kudlow saying that Biden will force you to only drink “plant-based beer.”) The situation is so bad, Newsmax isn’t actually being any worse than any other right-winger/propaganda outlet at the moment.

I just watched a documentary on Netflix yesterday, produced by that bastion of Liberalism, Arnold Schwarzenegger, about plant based diets. And how top performing athletes (including NFL teams, UFC fighters, and weight lifters) drastically improved their performance by switching to plant-based diets. They even tested the effects of meat diets vs plant diets on erections, of all things. (apparently, an 8% increase, at least for the NFL players tested)
