Sounds like some sort of Puritan-level logic: "Well, if he'd merely stop searing his eyes (and his soul) with that Satanic porn, he wouldn't be motivated to be take the flowers from other gardens."

1-Visit the genealogy library and the county courthouse’s marriage books. I’m betting that this judge is a relative of the defendant and/or of a boss or BF of his parents.
2-Surveill the judge. If possible, enable him to be caught accepting more than one bribe. This was done to a judge in my family who helped blow the on a nuclear power plant scandal. I’d love to see the karmic books balanced by someone taking down this contemptuous JD.
