Yeah I’m guessing some security protocols are being modified right now, if they haven’t been already. It could have been something a lot more dangerous than cocaine.

Maybe left over from the previous tenant?

In fairness it’s not like a baggy of cocaine would show up on a metal detector, so security isn’t necessarily any worse than it would be at most airports. I wonder how many people forget to ditch their personal stash before boarding a plane and just cross their fingers that they won’t encounter a drug-sniffing dog on that trip.

Yeah I was more referring to the security camera blind spot. Hopefully that’s getting fixed, otherwise now everyone knows there’s a blind spot.

I wonder if the issue is that the cameras aren’t covering the area with the cubby holes or just that it’s difficult to tell from the angle whether any given person covertly stashed a small baggy in the back when they were putting their stuff in there. I doubt the cameras are positioned in such a way to get a clear look at everything inside the cubbies themselves.

Yeah that could be. It still seems potentially problematic. Combined with some of the other issues with Secret Service the last few years, it doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy.

I can see that. I can’t imagine a small amount of drugs likely left behind by a tourist is really one of the top threats the Secret Service should be spending its resources on though.

My personal investigative conclusion: the coke was obviously left there by someone in the Secret Service.

Get pre-chek. Laugh at people walking around in their socks!

Probably the same person who leaked the Dobbs decision.

I assumed it was just G Dub’s

Hey, if no one claims it, then finders keepers.
