Ah, Thiel: an anti-statist when his corporate profits might be taxed, but an enthusiastic statist when they’re buying his company’s services to oppress brown-skinned people.

Truly one of America’s foremost public buboes.

In the interests of avoiding a ruinous lawsuit aimed at chilling his enemies; I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he’s OK with the oppression of poor white people; at least if there’s a market for that as well.

I’m sure even if ACM boots palantir, enough cash-addicted people/companies with zero qualms enabling fascism will attend to make up for it.

All Ayn-Caps are closet authoritarians. They just don’t like being told that they can’t rule over poor people.

I am an ACM member for over 25 years and would like to sign that letter, but I am in Australia, so cannot provide a zip code. I think you may have a wider audience than you think.

It helps when fascism is easy to identify.

The gray areas make direct immediate action a nearly impossible option.

I disagree, but respect your opinion.

ACM is still a thing? They don’t have much of a voice in the world of modern computing as I thought they would, back when they were hitting up us young undergrads for memberships.
