NSA contractor Harold Thomas Martin to face espionage charges over 50TB of "stolen code"

He can’t though. James Comey’s reason for not prosecuting Clinton was there was no precedent. (In choosing not to go further, they also avoided setting one.) Taking home your DoD classified work is a completely different affair.

If, say, you are a ‘security’ agency and if, say, someone has been has been slurping 50TB of your data … well, I’d say: you are doing something wrong.

I’m not sure how Trump is remotely on topic, even if that was a joke.

Follow the thread backward, it’s not that hard. Trump really is off topic, but he’s much funnier than Fox News these days.

I see a comment about Clinton, but not much else. Are we not allowed to talk about one candidate without the other until after the election?

(sigh)

Yes, it was a mistake to mention Trump and I am truly sorry.

However, I see an uncritical acceptance of the idea that, if the universe was just, Clinton would be in prison. Lots of people are chanting, “lock her up.” He’s just the most visible one. And I don’t hear anybody chanting for a fair trial; they just want to see Crooked Hillary destroyed.

Delightful, thank you

I get that he’s an expert, but it should be more difficult to copy their information.

Perhaps not hoarding every detail of every American’s life in their Ur server could help keep the scale more manageable, more easily protected.

I get your point. Perhaps I will have to wait until after the election for anything resembling a nuanced discussion regarding the differences in handling classified material between DoD and the State Department.

In my estimate, there does not exist 50TB of source code in the history of computing

If you include “no, honestly, it’s a Linux ISO” there must be.
