It’s sort of a spinal tap type band, but maybe misses an important part of the gag.
The main difference is that when Spinal Tap came out the music was almost indistinguishable from late 70’s/early 80’s NWOBHM. It was convincingly like a lot of bands out there, which is what made it so sly.
This is beating the “The 80’s were silly” dead horse. Nobody is going to mistake this for anything current.

Maybe its better if either english isnt your first language or you really arent familiar with the genre you are supposed to be parodying. Otherwise, yeah, not good.
