I was going to simply post, âthatâs a morayâ but this is so much better!
they are freaky as fish f*ck, but pretty cool to see in the wild. there are many on the reef here (particularly fond of a greenie that lives at Alligator Reef) but not so fun when you catch one while fishing. you wanna get the hook out of their mouth, but they twist and squirm until they knot themselves! not so great. we always return them unharmed (except for the gnarly toothache or lip piercing they just got)
