The funny thing is that they hadnāt published a beef based recipe for the last year, and until they said anything, no one seemed to notice. Now they are getting screamed at by people insisting that this editorial choice is harming the families that raise beef cattle, that they will never visit the site again, because without beef there is no true cooking and other idiocies.
What about the environmental impact done by factory farming of cattle, that has a negative impact on millions and millions of families?

Gonna say they buried the lede there again. They said in the interview I read it was around 18 months and the numbers on their beef replacement recipes were great.
People are looking for alternatives and catering for them is good business. The vegan section of the local supermarkets have quadrupled in size in the last couple of years. They arenāt doing it for the environment.
Maybe they are living in it?
