Side kvetch: what is it with pickup trucks and not parking within the lines?
I believe that lowering the road is a better option!
Freedumb!
Oh! I know this one. Itâs âdefensive parkingâ. If you donât park like that, some âshit boxâ will park way too close and youâll have to actually drive carefully to get out (part of my response is cribbed from an answer I saw to that exact question a few years back).
That or theyâd have to turn their neck so far to see the lines 6 feet beneath them in their rearview mirrors that they might have issues getting their necks back to neutral?
Tik Tok will kill us all!
Iâll stick with my heavy whipping cream and Jolt, thanks.
This is not a new thing. My cousins in South Carolina were drinking this degenerate cocktail back in the 60s and 70s.
Everyone knows that the only correct holiday drink is a nice hot Lemon Coke
Oh noes!11!11!
âJust donât boil it for too long; youâre not making a syrupâ
Ha! Itâs just sugar water afterall.
The truck equivalent of manspreading?
I have a large truck. If I canât park within the lines Iâll park somewhere else.
It can be a but tricky to line up though if the parking spot angle is a bit off or the driveway is narrow. But you can do a little backsie-forthsie action to get lined up. Unless you have too much pride.
Donât know what this guyâs issue is though.
Well there you go. No 'Murican man is going to do a little backsie-forthsie to park a truck. You got to get right in there. Thereâs no backing out! Pretty sure John Wayne said that.
Can never have too much pride!
The evolution of Discovery Channel has basically been science popular science junk science.
Shark Week has followed a similar trajectory originally intending to be educational and promote conservation to becoming little more than junk science (including a megalodon âdocumentaryâ), and other shark-themed âentertainmentâ (like a heavily promoted âraceâ between Michael Phelps and a great white which ended up being a CG simulation).
I guess you could say that Shark Week and the Discovery Channel have long since jumped the shark.
The trajectory of MSN is so weird. From an AOL-like dialup ISP, to search engine, to news aggregator, to AI-automated tabloid clickbait.
