I’m not sure I agree, since raising the bridge and lowering the road are both systemic fixes, and deflating tires is a hotfix for a bug that manifests in production.
That said, if I wanted to make room on the board, I could combine “raise the bridge” and “lower the road”. Especially now that “raise the bridge” has actually happened…
My read on that was that digital natives interpret the ellipsis as trailing off or leaving something unsaid. Using it for punctuation other than that can make writing seem dated. So I guess don’t use it to separate clauses or indicate a pause if you’re worried about it. I’m an older millennial and I…sort of do that? Sometimes, anyway.
