This is terrible. I really feel for the officer involved. I can’t imagine the inner turmoil that would follow you the rest of your life.

many of our veterans suffer from this specific trauma, there is a high suicide rate by those affected.

ought not kill, there’s usually a moral price
The biggest scandal is how our government refuses to keep accurate statistics on gun deaths. This sort of thing happens much more often than most NRA members could even fathom but they have ensured that the evidence to show it will not be available.
