Well if she wasn’t out protesting, this wouldn’t have happened. Her fault.

I can’t even imagine what her family and friends are going through. This is nightmare material. Especially since the murderer will never be caught or prosecuted.

Ohio’s back in classic form, killing college students protesting. I wonder if they’ll name any new buildings on campuses after Dewine, they way they did with Rhodes.

If you haven’t read it I highly recommend Dave Eggers’ “A Note About Tear Gas”.
The fact that it’s banned in warfare by almost all countries, including the United States, will make some people wonder why it’s used by the police, while anyone who’s been paying attention will say, “So that’s why it’s used by the police.”

ETA the link.

Could be blowback on this one: she wasn’t even black.

Cue even more rioting. Trump will need his coward bunker again.

These people need to learn how the Hong Kong protestors were handling this last year. Cover the gas cannister with a traffic cone and fill that with water. The water will extinguish the burning and any gas that is emitted into it will be neutralized.

Expect a smear campaign like the one they’re crafting on Martin Gugino.
White Trump supporters, especially the less extreme, and white undecided voters, must not think cops could one day murder them or their relatives.

Yes, well the dead have some issues filling out the paperwork.
s It really sounds like they care a lot about the incident. /s

To be clear, the reason that tear gas is banned on the battlefield is because all chemical agents are banned on the battlefield. If you’re in a battle situation and the enemy drops a gas canister, you don’t get to hang around and figure out whether it’s tear gas or chlorine. You just run. Or die.

Not that this justifies its use against protestors in any way. It’s abhorrent.

No doubt she was carrying something that looks exactly like and functions exactly like a mobile phone but which Trump has declared to be some sort of super-duper-secret “scanner” capable of jamming police radios and who knows what else. Sad thing is that the base will just eat it up with never a thought in their itty-bitty minds.

“Again, we encourage anyone who was with her at the protest or on May 29 or 30 before she went to Sycamore to talk to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office or (Columbus police),” she added.

So…report the killing to the killers, is what she’s saying.

Cops are a sick fucking joke in this country.

Capsaicin is oil soluble. I’m wondering if this is just a case of respiratory failure brought on by sheer inflammatory damage, or if there’s an allergic component to it because of some peanut/oil related contamination. Even with a necropsy/biopsy, given the time frame this may be a tough call for a pathologist.

Does anyone remember that we’re also still in the middle of a global pandemic?

No. No one has forgotten that. Did you forget that police brutality has been a problem since forever? Also, that the black community has a higher rate of death due to lack of access to decent healthcare than whites?

This season’s story arc has quite a few threads to tie up, stick with it and we can make sure there’s another one, alright?
