Ohio Republicans want to honor Trump with his own state park

Most obvious reason to not do something for Individual ONE is what you posted. Good perspective. Even better when you see that it was another example of his self aggrandizement.

Why not compromise and just call it “Blood-Sucking Parasite State Park” with Trump’s face as the logo?

The park signs will become an ongoing tribute to the joys of vandalism.

Oh please, please, please (fingers crossed)

This is the problem with not having all points of interest named after humans you like: they are all eventually named after humans you don’t like. Eg, DC once had a perfectly reasonable airport. It was called Washington National Airport. Now, because Democrats foolishly did not rush in and name it after JFK, it’s named after RWR.

By “rule”, you mean a norm? Something that would be ethically wrong but is not illegal? We’re far past that point, babe.

Can we at the VERY LEAST stop naming things after people who are trying to OVERTHROW OUR GOD DAMN DULY ELECTED GOVERNMENT… Can we at least stop pretending like Trump was some sort of normally guy that we disliked, instead of what he actually was/is, a defacto leader of the modern white supremacist movement in America who came the closest to installing a white authoritarian regime since the Civil War.

This isn’t about just not wanting to NOT name something after someone on the “other side.” It’s about not giving creedence to wanna-be authoritarians who want to end democracy as we know it.

I agree that Reagan was a terrible president. He did not try to overthrow the country and install himself as dictator for life.

(sarcasm)

I would vote for the renaming as long as it is renamed the “Donald Trump and Aaron Burr Traitors Park” and modeled after the Memorial for Peace and Justice, but with two suspended rectangles.

Are they actually pretending they don’t understand the true nature of the “commitment and dedication” shown by mass-murdering traitor Trump? Agent Orange spent four years calling himself president while sitting around in the dark, watching tv, eating cheeseburgers, tweeting, and gabbing with his wealthy pals. No exaggeration, little omission. He was a figurehead, and barely that sometimes. Republicans love Power Vacuum Presidents because it allows unelected schmucks to push their caustic ideas (I’m looking at you, Stephen Miller), but Trump went so far in this direction that his administration couldn’t have been very different if he were comatose the entire time (aside from the insane tweets, of course).

There are lots of options available here, some of them don’t have to be people: Donald J Trump Anal Warts State Park.

Reminds me that I want to create the Donald J Trump Presidential Libary in DC, a history of all that was wrong.

It would be Ohio.

Is it a swamp?

I propose opening nominations for the location of the Donald J Trump Superfund Site

Could a superfund site be named for him? With the usual signage, ‘This is not a place of honour …’, that will tell future generations to stay far away from it.

Though he will be the only ex-president with a ‘Presidential Golf Course and Casino’ that should have similar signage.

Or we could have this big, gold plaque that states: “SOME PEOPLE ONLY EXIST AS A WARNING TO OTHERS.”
