All of us have had a comment moderated at one time or another. Sometimes it’s due to bad actors, sometimes we lose our tempers, sometimes we just can’t resist taking a shot. As long as it isn’t a consistent and on-going behaviour you’re not going to get a timeout, let alone a permaban.
Just take it easy, trust yourself to do the right thing, and enjoy the site.

There is a long history of sea lawyers who seek to understand and operate within some imaginary, finely tuned universe of decision-making around what should and should not be deleted from this BBS, be that posts, threads, or users. Usually, they want to push the ‘what is offensive’ envelope.
Neither the BBS nor anyone with admin access participates in that imaginary universe. The most important POSTED rule, “Be Cool” implies not that you seek to be Steve McQueen but that the moderators can tell if you are being a fun, contributing, productive participant vs just raving at folks like a fucking asshole. It comes with a WHOLE LOTTA LEEWAY for one team and not much for the other.
