I wonder if he’s legally allowed to have one until such time he is convicted of a felony.
Still crazy that the Republicans are so enthusiastic about the gun charges against Hunter Biden, who violated a law that may yet be ruled unconstitutional (lying about being a drug user on a gun permit application).
I’m guessing the biggest stumbling block to Trump buying a gun is that the store actually wanted him to pay for it, and wouldn’t accept a vague promise of future payment.

I don’t see how he could buy a handgun in SC. You can only buy a handgun (generally) in your state of residence. I don’t think he could have even submitted the forms for that, so I think this headline is misleading. Proof of state residence is required to even complete the form.
Anyone giving him sane legal advice would tell him to not even enter a gun shop and certainly not to handle guns that are for sale, but anyway, he’s never been one to listen to sane legal advice.
I’m buyin’! Rounds for everyone!
Of course, part of the message here is: “Hey, Trump supporters! Buy guns! Prepare to defend me! Or just shoot your kids or neighbors or whoever.”
Don’t like having a whole political party run by a nihilist death cult. Don’t like it a bit!
Clearly a fabrication as Trump’s tiny hands couldn’t conceivably hold a gun.
Ooohhhkayyyy. . . “shooting someone in the middle of 5th avenue” here we come.
I’m assuming he already has the bunker…
Sporkfoot the MAGA parrot was fluffing him up real good.
What a orangenoser she is.
Something tells me they didn’t accept his check:
… it still says “twitter.com” in my address bar
It really isn’t.
I’m mired in despairing whataboutism. A person indicted for non-violent crimes is denied a gun? But not denied is an abuser who has made violent threats and has a restraining order against him?
(Although yes, please, don’t let this madman have a gun.)
Don’t forget the sexual abuse judgement. I wouldn’t consider that nonviolent
It’s not at all clear that Trump was actually denied a gun, simply that he didn’t actually buy one.
In any case I wouldn’t call incitement of a deadly insurrection against the United States a “non-violent crime.”
Or were you talking about Hunter Biden?
So they took it from his cold dead tiny hands?
Well, I almost called it.
I was right that it was for show, and that he got rid of it. The only part I was wrong about was that he never actually bought it in the first place.
