Owners survey shows Musk to be Tesla's biggest problem

‘Whatever the case, there’s probably never been an automotive CEO whose personal brand was so closely entwined with vehicle demand.’

That’s an interesting point - did Henry Ford’s well-publicised anti-semitism affect the company’s sales?

In same boat - not considering a Tesla for an upcoming car purchase.
I’ll go w Korean, VW, Volvo, and eventually Toyota or Honda before I set a single foot inside a Tesla shop.

Musk is radioactive to this brand.

I’ll let some of the more esteemed historians comment here - but I would assume Ford’s racism was much more tolerated (and even celebrated) prior to WW2 in the US.

This is when “freeze peach” is used.
For people who don’t actually care about allowing everyone to exercise their 1A rights. They just want to say the hard R in public and/or intimidate oppressed populations without accountability.

I always read that as “free speech abolitionist” and have to walk it back in my brain.
Even though “free speech abolitionist” would be a more accurate description.
