Given that the UN was an idea by the FDR administration this would be somewhat ironic if it wouldn’t increase human suffering and instability.
As if the world didn’t have enough of this already.
And so longstanding U.S. support for the Israeli state’s shitting on Palestinians accelerates. After all, the U.S. has also relegated its indigenous population through theft and murder to a tiny portion of the land ownership they once had. Maybe the end game is that the decades-long atrocity that is Palestinian dispossession wiil eventually become as normalized and basically forgotten by most as the U.S. treatment of its indigenous people has become. It’s almost like the U.S. itself is serving as Israel’s model (not to mention its primary financial and military enabler).
