That’s just ignorant slander. The mayor of Paris, of all people, should be familiar with the city’s proud history of developing modern sewers, which were a technological marvel and an indispensable part of a large, healthy city. The city even offers guided tours of their historic sewers:

Twitter, however, is the last thing anyone needs. Much more like shit being tossed out of windows onto the public below, in the bad old days before sewers existed.
