Party like it's 1998: UK government bans ripping CDs -- again

It’s not about CDs as i conceded but that is a curious anachronism. A trend though? Probably not. It’d be interesting to know the demographic of who is buying that to understand whether they are traditional rippers.

Shouldn’t that be the other way around - that the industry should have to prove the harm that it did to them? The U.S. has inverted the “innocent until proven guilty” foundation of law and order too but reports of obvious abuse usually still point it out. This seems to just casually accept “guilty until proven innocent” as standard operating procedure in the U.K.
