Not that I’m going to rush out to buy this stuff - I’ve hated bourbon every time I tried it (both times) but I’m totally prepared to believe I just had terrible cheap bourbon. most of my early drinking experiences went this way

The bills aren’t that old. They are from 1969 or newer. They are Federal Reserve Notes which lack the statement that they are redeemable in lawful money. This part was first omitted in 1963.
