Performance artist frosts and shares cake on NYC subway

Just had to check the comments to see how quickly the insufferably unimpressed jumped in to show how cool they were.
“Pretty much right away” was the answer.

Whereas I now feel bad for not including free cake as part of my Grad Thesis.

The ratio of people to cake is too big.

It’s funny too see how many have failed to realize the “art” has little to do with her making the cake at all (hint: her “art” is the message she clearly explains herself) Be unimpressed as you want about the cake itself but there’s something to be said about being able to not only capture the attention and emotions of complete strangers but to get them to participate and reciprocate back to your message well.

Whatever you want to call it, I found it fascinating and sweet the way people reacted kindly to her and ate it. “Everybody’s birthday” was an awesome response!

Who the hell eats a cake made on a subway and served by a stranger? That’s just deeply unwise.
